Real Estate in Blaine Minnesota Weekly Market Numbers

Here are some key numbers from last week:
New Listings - There were 29 homes listed on the MLS last week in Blaine vs 26 the week before bringing the total number of homes for sale in Blaine to 75.
Pending Sales - 18 homes went into a pending status last week waiting to close vs 16 last week, bringing the total to 109.
Closed Sales - There were 8 closed sales last week vs. 15 the week prior.
The story remains relatively the same. Homes remain tough to find if you are a buyer in this market and you will often find yourself competing in multiple offers for the house you may love. Low rates and lack of inventory has driven market values higher and competing offers are over list price more frequently. Active listings seem to be increasing at slow pace so hopefully this Spring market some of the tight inventory will ease a bit and help create a more balanced market. Sellers do seem to be getting the message now may be, and is, a great time to sell.
