Real Estate Blaine Market Report for March 2020
The Real Estate Market seems to be holding steady in Blaine and the Twin Cities area in general. One would expect a slow down but it hasn't shown up in the data or activity. The next few months may start to see a slowdown as we hear stories of buyers and sellers nervous to go on showings and have people in their houses. Time will tell.
Here are a few numbers from March of 2020 in Blaine, MN:
There were 128 new listings in March, down from 143 last March.
There are 115 Pending sales, up from 106 at this time last year.
There were 75 closed sales, down from 80 in March of 2019.
In the Twin Cities 7 County Metro Area:
Closed sales are down 1% from last year.
New listings are up 9% this March compared to 2019, inventory however, is down 19% continuing a trend that has been happening for years.
Pending sales are up over 7% compared to March of last year, which is a great number and indication that the market has not yet been affected by the Covid outbreak.
