Here are some key numbers last week:
Homes Listed For Sale: There were 22 homes listed for sale last week, 2 are in coming soon status and 11, half, are already sold, either new construction being completed or offers accepted already. This brings the total number of homes for sale in Blaine to 73.
Pending Sales: 18 homes went into a Pending status last week waiting to close. Bringing the total number of Pending sales to 103.
Closed Sales: There were 8 closed sales last week. This brings the total sales year to date to 45. This is keeping pace with 2020 which saw 54 total for the month of January.
January 2021 is starting off the way 2020 ended, low inventory, low mortgage rates, and high buyer demand. Last year saw record sales and record low inventory, this leads to high market values for sellers and high prices for home buyers.
This Spring should see more inventory as home sellers take advantage of the higher market values and there will be easier for those that want to sell as more homes will be available for them to purchase.
