Real Estate in Blaine Weekly Market Report

Here are a few key numbers from last week in the Blaine market area: 

New Listings - there were 11 homes that went for sale last week, plus 2 that are in a "coming soon" status. This brings the total homes for sale to 63. 

Pending Sales - 5 homes went into a  Pending status last week, sold just waiting to close.  This brings the total number of Pending sales to 107. 

Closed Sales - 11 homes closed last week, bringing the total for 2020 to 1348.

Last week was a little slow due to the Christmas and New Year Holiday week but overall the 2020 real estate market in Blaine and surrounding Twin Cities area performed very well considering some of the challenges.  Buyer demand did stay very high over this period and will continue to due so as we head into 2021.  Mortgage rates are still at historic lows as are the number of homes for sale.  This also is keeping market values high benefiting home sellers.  I expect more activity next week compared to this week and also a very good start to 2021 as more sellers put their homes on the market.
