Real Estate in Blaine Minnesota Weekly Market Numbers

Here are some key numbers for last week:
New Listings - There were 33 new listings including 7 that are in a Coming Soon status.
Pending Sales - 27 homes went into a Pending sale status last week waiting to close, bringing the total to 149.
Closed Sales - 19 homes closed last week compared to 13 the week prior. Bringing the total year to date number to 166, compared to 170 for this period last year.
Market values continue to climb in Blaine this year to $310,000 in February, up over 10% from last year. Low mortgage rates and REALLY low housing inventory are the largest factors to the increase in market values. Both have created large buyer demand and in some cases biding wars. Rates have crept up and we may start to see a values level off later this year. The story is the same nationally as inventory is down almost 30% from last year. This is slowing the number of sales as there are just not enough homes for sale.
