Real Estate in Blaine MN Weekly Market Numbers

There were 33 homes listed for sale last week and currently there are 136 homes for sale in Blaine, this is down from 244 from this time last year.  

35 homes went under contract, Pending, last week.  This puts the total pending sales in Blaine to 180.  this number is up around 20% from last year. 

37 homes sold (closed) last week, for a total of 829 total sales in 2020.  In 2019 there were 857 total sales through August.  

Lack of inventory, or homes for sale, is continuing to be the story in 2020 as buyers struggle to find homes.  On the flip side it is a very good time to be a seller as low mortgage rates and the lack of inventory (below 3%!) continue to prop up home values and buyer demand.  The average sale price in Blaine is now up to $314,000, up 10% from last year.
